district," she said. "I'm going to vote against it because it's the
right thing to do."

Much hailed as an alternative to gasoline, biofuels are increasing greenhouse gases according to Science Magazine.
Harvard has published that US tax payers are supporting $5.5 billion to $7.3 billion per year in biofuel subsidies and "Food-versus-fuel
concerns-Current use of food crops like corn as the feedstock for
biofuels is driving up price for several agricultural commodities."
Basically, biofuels are increasing greenhouse gases while increasing food costs.
Who is profiting from biofuel subsidies? There is a lot of money being spread around.
